Counseling is form of self-care practice designed to give individuals time to learn and grow. Going to counseling does not mean that you have a mental health diagnosis or that you are "crazy". Making this decision is hard but the process can be enlightening and help you grow in a well-rounded manner.
Hi! I'm Dr. Shama Panjwani
I established SoHolisticEnergy, S.H.E., Counseling & Consultation to provide affordable services and access to those in need. My goal is to help you manage or overcome challenges related to depression, anxiety, stress, mood disorders, trauma, grief, cultural issues, relationship and marital issues, domestic violence, substance abuse, anger management and other difficulties through acceptance and nonjudgmental approach. I use a combination of techniques from various forms of therapies based on your needs including: cognitive behavioral (CBT), DBT, solution focused, positive psychology, mindfulness, narrative, trauma-focused, and psychoanalytic. I use a holistic wellness approach of mind, body, and spirit, while acknowledging and respecting any religious and spiritual values the clients may have.
